Napali Sunset Dinner Cruise

Natural beauty is present on every one of Kauai’s 111 coastline miles, but there’s a 17-mile stretch that’s exceptionally profound and it’s called the Napali Coast. This historically significant and sacred northwest coast has been designated and protected as a Hawaii State Park since 1983 and because it’s inaccessible by vehicle, we’d like to invite you to come tz experience the magic on our Napali Sunset Cruise.

Step aboard our 65’ Kauai-built power catamaran Holoholo and we’ll hand you a drink to enjoy as we depart Port Allen and begin our journey north. We offer a nice selection of domestic and Hawaii craft beers, hard seltzers, red, white, and sparkling wines, our signature Koloa Rum Mai Tai, and a variety of sodas and juices.

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, sea turtles, and migrating humpback whales (seasonally November-March), and your Captain will share interesting historical facts and authentic stories and legends relating to the coast as we cruise along.

Meanwhile, your crew members will be serving up some meats, cheeses, crackers, veggies, and dip as an appetizer. They’ll also be keeping your drinks topped up and generally taking great care—snapping your photo, sharing history, answering questions, helping move around, etc.

We think you’ll agree there’s something special about the way the late afternoon light filters through Napali’s 4,000’ sea cliffs, makes her cascading waterfalls sparkle, and lights up the sand on her pristine, untouched beaches. Our northernmost destination, the Kalalau Valley and the “Cathedral” cliffs that form it are truly spectacular and a wonderful photo opportunity.

For dinner, we’ll be enjoying a nice spread including a mixed green salad, teriyaki chicken, hapa rice, Somen noodle salad, and roasted veggies and tofu. Holo Holo Charters is the only Kauai boat tour company certified Ocean Friendly by the Surfrider Foundation, and our meals are enjoyed on “real” plates, with “real” silverware, and cloth napkins.

At sunset, we’ll pause to make a toast, enjoy a Kauai Coffee caramel brownie, and witness the sun sinking into the horizon before we cruise back into Port Allen in the glorious pink and orange afterglow.

Ocean conditions on the Napali Sunset Cruise range from splashy and exciting to smooth and romantic. No matter what mother nature has in store on any given day, we take pride in the safety and cleanliness of our vessel, the quality of our food and beverages, and the friendly, professional service of our experienced Captains and crew members.

It would be a shame to travel all the way to Kauai and miss seeing the incredible Napali Coast! We encourage you and your loved ones to join us on this delicious, educational, and picturesque sunset cruise. Treat yourself to the best and find out firsthand why Holo Holo Charters was voted 2022 “Best Boat Tour in America” by USA Today.

We pride ourselves on creating fun and memorable ocean adventures for our guests. Your safety is our top priority; therefore, all tour routes, destinations, and snorkeling activities are dependent on ocean and weather conditions. If you are joining us during our winter season November – March, tours can be more often impacted by weather. Conditions around Kauai can change quickly, so our expert captains are constantly analyzing and may wait until check-in time to determine the best route for the day. If that occurs you will have the opportunity to go on the altered tour, reschedule to another day (availability permitting), or cancel your tour at no charge if it is weather-related. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 808-335-0815 so we can help create the best experience for you and your family!
